Meet Chrissy, our gentle Mastiff mix with a heart as big as her adorable floppy ears! At just two years old, this lovely girl has already shown she's full of love and is eager to find her forever family.Chrissy has a lovely fawn coat and a soulful gaze that seems to look right into your heart. She's a pocket-size mastiff weighing in at about 70 pounds and she uses every ounce of her being to spread affection. She came from a property with multiple other large dogs, and is a little under socialized with new situations but is showing lots of growth while at the shelter. As soon as you meet Chrissy, she'll be nudging your hand for a pat or a treat! She loves her playtime and enjoys both spirited romps in the yard and peaceful walks in nature. Chrissy does well with well-matched dogs, especially when they share her playful and friendly demeanor, making her a potential candidate for homes with existing pets or as an only-dog where she can soak up all the attention. Her ideal family would be one that can offer her moderate exercise, lots of gentle affection, and the occasional cozy nap spot by their side. We are unsure how she is with cats or kids, but she may do well in a family with either. Chrissy is still working on her potty training, but she is super smart and eager to please and we are hopeful she will have it down in no time. As with all rescues or new dogs, we recommend taking new things slow and having appropriate management protocols in place when introducing Chrissy to knew things.*Note that Chrissy has been diagnosed with a grade two heart murmur but has not exhibited clinical signs of heart disease, potential adopters should be aware*If you're looking for a loving and loyal companion to complete your family, Chrissy might just be your perfect match.
