Meet Luke!Luke is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. This handsome young man is on the lookout for his forever home. Luke may be a bit timid at first, having not had much exposure beyond his yard, but his love for the great outdoors shines bright. Nothing makes him happier than embarking on serene walks in nature, soaking in the sights and sounds. Despite his initial shyness, Luke is incredibly sweet and craves human affection, making him a loyal companion. With a fair share of smarts and a knack for learning, he's eager to please, especially if there are treats involved! Luke dreams of finding a peaceful, tranquil home environment, free from the hustle and bustle, and without small children or animals. We are uncertain about his compatibility with other dogs, however with careful introductions, there is a chance that he would enjoy having a similarly tempered k9 companion.Luke has been making enormous strides in his progress with socialization and training since being with us. He is an extremely smart boy who is eager to please, so training sessions with him are a total blast. He's currently working on learning to sit politely and shake a paw. He's also currently mastering the art of getting in and out of cars but will need continued help in that department - they're super scary!
