Marlin is happiest getting ready for his walks or cuddling on the sofa, as long as it's with you.ABOUT MARLIN: - 6 yr old, Boxer/Lab mix, medium-sized dog, 60 lbs- Marlin came to EHS as an unclaimed stray - He knows all his obedience cues and learns new ones fast- Good in the house, good in the car- Marlin is neutered, house-trained, microchipped and has core vaccinations- He is working with a behavioural vet to deal with his fears of strange dogs and he is doing great!MARLIN'S IDEAL HOME:- A single adult or couple living in a calm, quiet home and quiet neighbourhood - A family that is willing to work through a transitional period as they build a bond and gain his trust- Direct access to a private, fenced yard so that he can have his outdoor time without having to run into other dogs or people.- No kids, no other pets in the home- Experienced owner who is prepared to invest time and energy in both helping him settle into his new home and providing the structure that he needs- Marlin can show reactivity to other dogs on a walk but he has been working with his foster and a trainer and has come a long way; in the right environment he should continue to improve and thrive. Our trainer looks forward to working with his adopters to ensure a successful transition and knowledge transfer to his new family.Marlin makes a great, faithful companion.
