Meet Lizzy!Lizzy is a 5yr old, spayed adventurer. Our best guess right now at her breed is a Wire-Haired Griffon and Golden Retriever. We have sent away a DNA test to confirm our suspicions. We may be way off with her unique breed but one thing is for sure and that she is one active pooch!Lizzy loves to play ball in our yard and constantly seeks the affection of all her human friends at the shelter. Lizzy is fun and friendly but also at times mouthy. For this reason, formal positive reinforcement training is essential. She may be too much for a home with young children. However, She does sit and go lay down on her bed for her favorite treats.Lizzy is currently on a hypoallergenic diet for possible allergies. It is best her new family consult with their veterinarian if they wish to transition to a regular diet in the future.L is for Loss of fur......she is a shedderI is for Interesting.....she is always curious and can keep you entertainedZ is for Zing Zing Zing......what a playful, active girlZ is for Zest.....she loves living her best lifeY is for Youthful..... only 5 years young; the world is her oysterLizzy loves being around people and giving big hugs! She is a little unsocial with other dogs but is interested in making friends. Because of this, it is necessary to bring your dog to the meet and greet to see if they will be a match. If you think Lizzy would make a good match for your household, please call Toronto Animal Services West at 416-338-XXXX to start the initial online adoption process. If you are the lucky candidate, we will then schedule a meet and greet.
