Hello All!! My name is Maxie and I am a handsome, 80 lb young guy with a distinguished heritage of both Labrador and Golden retriever DNA. Does it get any better than that, eh?! I am known for my calm demeanor and ability to get along with everyone I meet. I love playing with other dogs, with kids, and even sometimes with cats. I am able to put lots of energy into playing and yet I also can relax and be quite calm. I have some leash skills but those skills greatly expand if I am presented with delightful treats. I'll do anything for a tasty tidbit! My story is that I was adopted by a wonderful woman with 2 young kids. She was told that I was born a few months after my mom got out of the yard and came back, with me on the way. I have to be rehomed because my adopter has important family matters to attend to. Despite her deep love for me, she has been caring enough to give me up for adoption so that I can get the care and attention I deserve. I am immunized, microchipped, and neutered. My adoption fee is $750 plus taxes. Fears: None observed. As they will be taking their dog home straight from the airport, they have a couple of weeks to decide if the dog is a fit.
