Introducing Lucy!Lucy is a big cuddly goofball! Once she gets to know you, she will greet you with all the tail wags, cuddles and kisses you could dream of! Lucy absolutely loves her walks where she can sniff and explore everything she sees. Sometimes, she gets too excited, and will try to take YOU for a walk instead, especially due to her strong prey drive. She gets very excited to meet other dogs, so she needs a home with someone who is ready to continue working with this girl on her manners. We think she could go to a home with another calm dog sibling as long as they have a slow introduction. Lucy enjoys roaming in our gym, where she gets the slowest, goofiest zoomies you've ever seen - her little legs just can't keep up with the rest of her body! She is not that interested in toys, she only wants to play with her human friends! She loves cuddle time just as much as play time and is always ready for a big belly rub.Lucy has traveled all the way from Texas to find you! Having previously been adopted from the US, she moved to Canada as a pup and has sadly ended up back here in a shelter when her previous owner was no longer able to take care of her. We are really looking forward to finding Lucy a loving home where she can finally get the stability and consistency she needs and deserves! Despite her chaotic life so far, Lucy is still wearing her gappy, cheesy smile! Lucy is a big foodie, dinnertime is her favourite time of the day. Much to Lucy's surprise - she could really do with cutting back on the treats and losing a few pounds!
