With a name like HELIOS (from the Greek word SUN), who wouldn't want me to be their "Mr. Sunshine"?! I'm a 6 m. old Aussie Doodle (now 13lbs. / 12" @ shldrs). I am timid when I meet new people but once you gain my trust, I will be the most kind and loving soul you could ever imagine. I LOVE belly rubs & scratches; Tug of War; chew toys & bones. I am good with other dogs, okay with cats. I like slow intros to new dogs and once I feel comfy, I get super-playful. I am great on leash ~ checking to make sure I'm in line with you. I also love my kennel~ I go in on my own when I want a quiet spot to settle in. I haven't had any accidents inside and I go to the door when my brother does, rather than initiating the notice myself. So, once I move in with you, I'll need help learning to initiate the notice. I'm a "morning guy". I have lots of energy in the a.m. and get my 2nd wind later in the evening after napping all afternoon. Being outside is THE BEST! I have such a hoot playing in the yard and can get some intense zoomies going! I'm a bit of a jumper, I forget that I'm supposed to keep all 4 paws on the ground. I'll need you to remind me of this rule.. My Foster says that I'm coming out of my shell each day….more willing to try new things. That being said, I'm not a fan of aluminum dog dishes so perhaps we can agree on a nice ceramic set?? And, that dog looking back at me in the mirror, is a real annoyance and barks back at me ….the nerve! My most endearing quality is my "Butt Wiggle"….when I see my people I get SO excited that I can practically touch my head to my butt when I wiggle!! Even if you're having a bad day, I WILL make you smile!! Won't you let the SUN shine in and apply to adopt me today??With Hope, Helios (aka Mr. Sunshine)
