My name is Koda (formerly Pikachu). I was rescued by Tigger's Dog Rescue back in April 2023. I was found in a barn with my siblings inside a rubber maid bin. I lived with my foster daddy and his dog Anabel and six cats. I got lots of love and play-time with everyone. Fast-forward. I was adopted by a couple back in August 2023. I was excited about a new family. They even had a dog for me to play with. In December 2023, I was surrendered to Tigger's Dog Rescue, but I came back with a secret. The people who I thought loved me, abused me to the point where I am scared of men. They allowed their dog to pick on me to the point where I sometimes have anxiety towards other dogs. I was so heartbroken that they did this to me. My new foster mommy has been working with me to try and help me, but I'm still scared of men to the point I will run and hide inside my kennel because it's my safe place. I love cuddling with my foster mommy's baby and playing with their cat. I'm really trying to trust men again and other dogs. I'm really looking for a chance to be loved again with a new family.
