Venus may initially be a bit shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. She is comfortable taking treats from strangers and allows people to lift her. Her friendly nature and willingness to interact with others make her a sociable companion. When it comes to other dogs, Venus greets them with a friendly "Hello," but she is less likely to engage in play. However, she gets along well with dogs of all sizes and ages. If she encounters a dog showing aggression, Venus prefers to avoid the situation rather than escalate it. Having other dogs around makes her feel more at ease, so having a canine companion at home would be beneficial for her. Venus has a low energy level and prefers a calm and relaxed environment. While she may pull a bit on the leash during walks, she generally follows her handler well. If she strongly wants to go somewhere or doesn't want to continue, she may pull and sit. In the presence of loud noises or things that scare her, she seeks comfort and security by sticking close to her handler. She walks well in quiet areas but may be a bit apprehensive on busy streets. Additionally, sudden movements may startle her, causing her to try to bolt away. Resource guarding is not a concern for Venus as she doesn't exhibit it towards people or other dogs. However, due to her attachment to people, she may develop separation anxiety in the future. While she hasn't shown any signs yet, it's something to be aware of. Venus is not a frequent barker and does well when crated. Occasionally, she may breathe heavily in the crate, but she does not experience car sickness. Since she is not accustomed to car rides, she may require assistance getting in and out of the car due to fear.Venus is potty-trained and understands to do her business outdoors. With her calm demeanour and gentle nature, she would make a wonderful companion for someone seeking a relaxed and loyal canine friend.
