Introducing Socks, an 10 month old male Golden Retriever who's approximately 60lbs and full of love and joy! There are so many wonderful things to say about Socks so let's get started....Socks is amazing with all dogs and is calm and happy around dogs even when being barked at. He's good with cats too as he mostly ignores them and lets them do their thing. Socks loves going for walks and is great on leash, only pulling a bit out of excitement when he sees another dog ahead. Socks also likes his crate and sleeps in his crate overnight. He prefers to be in the same room with a buddy while crated but will settle. Socks is also completely potty trained and very proud to report not one accident in the house! That being said, he does like to eat everything - and true to his name - socks are not safe! Socks loves life. Truly. He's an early riser who wakes up with an infectious joy that you can't help but adore. He loves to start his day with rolling in the grass. Socks loves everything...his people, water, getting brushed, having the ball thrown around and he's great with letting you touch his paws, tail, nails and mouth. He's the most tolerant boy! Socks drinks water with exuberance and he ends each meal with a burp... that's his way of telling you his food was perfection! 🤣 Now that you know what Socks will be like - it's also important to know that he is a really shy guy with new people and new things. He needs a family to understand his fears and help continue build his confidence. He'd prefer people home more often than not but does well in his crate for up to 5 hours so far.
