Hi there, I'm Niko, the adventure-loving 9 month old with a heart full of joy and a half tail that never stops wagging! My journey began when I was rescued by K9 Advocates, and though I don't remember much from those tough times, they took great care of me, and now I'm in BC, all set for action and a new home. I'm a four-legged explorer who finds solace and happiness in the great outdoors. The moment I step outside, the world becomes my playground. The scent of nature, the feel of the grass beneath my paws, and the sight of butterflies fluttering around make me feel alive and free. Oh, those butterflies! They're like living fairy friends, and I can't help but chase after their colorful dance. Crunchy treats are my absolute favorites, carrots and cucumbers are the best! The satisfying crunch is music to my ears, and I savor every bite with delight. Healthy snacks are the way to my heart! Oh and of course some dried beef liver treats! Good news, I'm fully potty trained, but remember, I'm still young and eager to learn new things. The great outdoors and water are my happy places, and I love carrying something in my mouth – it's like my security blanket! I also love my crate and am happy to sleep in it at night or when my foster mom is at work. I do like to sleep with all 4 paws in the air! I'm told it's absolutely adorable! I'm getting better at walking on a leash, but sometimes my enthusiasm gets the best of me, and I tend to pull. A gentle reminder from my human friends is all I need to remember not to tug too hard. I'm eager to learn and improve, so I promise to be a good boy and do my best to stay by your side. Energy? Oh boy, I've got plenty of it! I'm a bundle of enthusiasm and zest for life. Playing is my forte, and I absolutely love spending time with my foster dog siblings. We have the best time together, running, wrestling, and having a blast. It's like a never-ending playdate that warms my heart. I must say, I'm pretty proud of my social skills. Meeting other dogs is one of my favorite things. I greet them with a friendly wag of my tail and a big smile on my face. Making new friends fills me with so much joy, and I'm always up for a good play session with my fellow furry pals. Sometimes I do need to be reminded that I need to leave my furry pals alone, I just get very excited to play! I may have had a challenging past, but I'm finally ready to find my furever home and continue to spread happiness, explore the outdoors, and chase after butterflies to my heart's content.
