** This dog is in Texas and is scheduled to come up once an adoptive home is found. Apply at lastminutedogrescue.com**Lucky is a sweet dog. The vet said that he has had a bit of a rough life as they found gun pellets embedded in his skin and had a large contusion when found. We were told that whatever caused the contusion, hit him so hard that it adjusted the alignment of his spine. Despite all of that, he loves his walks like any dog. Lucky thrives on attention and affection and, like everyone who has nearly starved to death, he LOVES food of pretty much any variety. He's friendly with other dogs, but definitely not with cats! He doesn't dig or jump over a fence, and is good on the leash. Of course he's always thrilled to go out on walks or car rides or any kind of adventure. Whoever chooses Lucky to join their family is going to be very lucky indeed! Please note, as with all our stray rescues, we have no way of knowing what Lucky's mix is. We think he looks like a border collie/Malinois mix, which would be a very high energy dog, but he doesn't seem to have the need for the level of activity those breeds typically do.
