Sweet Paco is ready for adoption! Check out those amazing hazel eyes! This beautiful boy is a “Mexi-mix” breed with features resembling the Hungarian Vizsla. He is 1.5 years old and weighs approx 45 lbs. Paco and his siblings were found abandoned on the streets of Jalisco Mexico when they were 3 months old. They were severely malnourished, dehydrated, and infested with fleas & ticks. Being so young, they were unable to fend for themselves on the streets and they were taken into the care of the rescue. Paco has been living at a rescue facility in Jalisco for 7 months. His two siblings have been adopted, and now it’s Paco’s turn. Paco is a cheerful, lively, fun-loving guy who absolutely adores people! He is great with both adults and kids - anyone who is willing to play with him will become his instant best friend. Paco loves to have a good time and is always up for an adventure. He enjoys walks, hikes, exploring the woods, playing at the park, chasing balls, and everything in between. He will be the perfect companion for a person/family who enjoys the outdoors.Paco is also quite the smarty pants! He knows basic commands like sit, come, and stay. He is house trained and knows how to walk nicely on leash. He is comfortable in his crate for a few hours and also uses his crate for car rides. Paco is sure to be a straight A student at obedience classes because he picks things up quite quickly.Paco is great with other dogs and is used to living with many doggies at his current rescue facility. He doesn’t like to share his food so he is fed separately from the other pups. But he happily plays the day away with his doggie friends and is friendly with all of them. Paco has not been tested with cats, so we can’t be sure how he’d react to them. Paco is a healthy boy with no known medical issues. When he was first rescued, he had a hygroma on his left elbow (a benign fluid filled swelling). It was surgically drained and removed, and is now fully healed. Paco is eagerly waiting to join his FURever family. He will be flying to BC when his perfect home is found. VETTING: Fully vaccinated. Neutered. Dewormed. SNAP 4Dx negative (Heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma). Flea/tick/heartworm prevention.**PLEASE NOTE: Paco is currently in Mexico. There will be a $235 fee for transportation to BC.
